Tenofovir Alafenamide Tablets 25 mg

Tenofovir Alafenamide (TAF) is a prodrug of tenofovir that delivers higher intracellular concentrations of the active metabolite in lymphoid tissue and hepatocytes at substantially lower plasma exposures than tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, resulting in an improved renal and bone safety profile. Indicated for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in adults with compensated liver disease, and as a component of combination antiretroviral therapy for HIV-1 infection in adults and paediatric patients.
