Obeticholic Acid Tablets (5 mg, 10 mg)

Obeticholic Acid is a selective farnesoid X receptor (FXR) agonist that modulates bile acid synthesis, secretion, and reabsorption, while reducing hepatic inflammation. It was the first targeted therapy developed for primary biliary cholangitis in over two decades. Indicated for the treatment of primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) in combination with ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) in adults with inadequate response to UDCA, or as monotherapy in adults unable to tolerate UDCA.
