Entecavir Tablets (0.5 mg, 1 mg)

Entecavir is a nucleoside analogue that selectively inhibits hepatitis B virus (HBV) polymerase, suppressing viral replication. It offers high antiviral potency with a high genetic barrier to resistance in nucleoside-naïve patients. Indicated for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus infection in adults and paediatric patients aged 2 years and older with evidence of active viral replication and either persistently elevated serum aminotransferases or histologically active disease.
