Empagliflozin Tablets (10 mg, 25 mg)

Empagliflozin is a selective sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor that lowers blood glucose by promoting urinary glucose excretion independently of insulin. It also provides established cardiovascular and renal protective benefits beyond glycaemic control. Indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycaemic control, reduction of cardiovascular mortality and hospitalisation for heart failure in adults with heart failure, and to slow the progression of chronic kidney disease.
